Note that toward the end of the year we will be releasing the Super Stearman Package which will contain the 300 HP Lycoming powered conversion, the 450 Pratt Super Stearman, and Ag version and Float Plane. So stay tuned.

Since most GAS creations have a cruise speed just below molasses in January (and that's why I love 'em), I just decided on a quick round-robin test flight between Stormville and Old Rhinebeck - and all I can say is: nicely done! I already had the previous GAS Stearman, but this new version is such a magnificent revision. It flies the same, but all of the baked-in details in the new edition really make it worthwhile: the crew start feature (my favorite)...the animated front seat passenger (the wing root mirror even 'reflects' the appropriate number of souls on board!)...the VC radios/GPS (blasphemy!)...etc, etc, etc.

The engine sounds really capture the essence of the Stearman quite well. I believe the other thread mentioned they were done by Immersive Audio. Is this the same stand-alone package for the Stearman that Immersive sells on Simmarket, or a modified version thereof?

Yes, we purchased the license to use in this model and had it edited to include the inertia starter effect.
 
Thank you Paul.The flight dynamics and sound are superb.

In passing I noticed with the PT13,texture2 directory there is a sound directory in it that I doubt should be there.

Eagerly awaiting repaints.

Added to the never ending list of things I'll get as soon as I can afford them... I flew MAAM's PT-17 when I was over there, so to say I have a soft spot for them is an understatement!
