'Got A Few Finger Cuts With This One'

Oh Man! That's It!! The helicopter I mentioned earlier in your aircraft approach toy thread!

Anyone ever used Hot Wheels orange track as missiles? We would each take a chair and sit on opposite sides of the room... then lean the track over with our hand on the bottom... whoosh... mortar attack.:costumes:

there is a verti-bird simulator available for free download somewhere on the web. i just removed it a few weeks ago. it was equally as hard as the real thing, and very accurately done as far as the behavior is concerned.

as for the hot wheel tracks, my mother used them as weapons quite effectively! however, she didn't use them as missles. she used them to flog the daylights out of me and my older brothers.:costumes:

Verti-Bird

I got that as a LATE Christmas present one year after my old man and his buddy broke it playing with it Xmas Eve after setting it up. I think they had a few eggnogs at the time. I know my Mom was pissed at Pops for doing that as they had a heck of time finding one for me. As I remember it was late January before I got it. Ah the joyful memories of childhood.:kilroy:

Regards, Rob:ernae:

p.s. I got whacked in the fingers a few times too. Also did you know that cats don't like Verti-Birds.:costumes:

I used to have a foam made USCG ship, that included this toy, a zodiac and something else, what i do remember is that this particular toy was prone to get broken, but me and my brother (who also got one, but his was a USN destroyer) used to play "war" with it,and we rammed each other in combat!...and yes, cat´s detest Verti-Birds, also dogs, but mine died (the verti-bird) after our german shepperd decided enough was enough..LOL

Best regards
Prowler

You know there is a company making something similar now? Saw racksandracks of them at the CAL Ranch Store just last week - don't remember the name, though...
