Graphics question....

I'm currently running on an e-GeForce 7200 GS, 128mb DDR2, PC1 - E16x (I have no idea what that means except for the 128mb).

I wouldn't mind upgrading to at least 512 mb ( $100 - 200 bucks give or take).......something I could just switch-out with the old one, without having to modify anything.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

Also, what's considered to be the best external hard drive manufacturer going these days ?

Thanks,

LD

How powerful is your PSU?

I would recomend either a GTS 250, ATI 4770, or an ATI 4850, if your PSU can handle them.

LD,

Remember, you do not have to go with a 'External HD' manufacturer. You can get cases that hold 'internal HD's and place the internal HD's in the cases. Then you can purchase high rated HD's and put them in the pods and hook them up. Sometimes, like with NewEgg.com, you can save a fortune this way, and end up with 2 HD's instead of one.

They also have 'socket' drives for internal HD's where you can plug in a HD into the slot (top mounted) and turn it on, and your computer emmediately registers it as a new drive. You can then have a stack of HD's on a shelf and pick the one you want and plug it in. (Great if you have alot of older HD's and you can clean them and reformat and restructure them for your needs).
