There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Has anyone sussed out how to make the hat switch in spot view travel in the same direction as it does in Fs9 + 10...it's bugging me, lol!
Trim switch opposite as well. In my mind I know they are the opposite of fsx on the force feedback but just like when the electrify goes out you keep on trying to turn on the dang light. In this case I go to trim my aircraft and really mess things up.

Jim, in the control settings you can reassign the trim button to make it the same as FsX but not the hat switch.
Hi,
I had the same concern regarding the pan direction. I couldn't recall in which forum I saw this but I solved it and posted the fix in the Flight forum at Flightsim.com. I simply changed the Spot view HeadingPanRate from 75 to -75 in the Cameras.cfg file.

Hi,
I knew I posted this erroneous information somewhere else and spent several hours looking for it. I guess I just got so used to the opposite rotation that I thought it was the same as FSX when I made the edit. There was no change whatsoever. In fact the camera definition which I suggested be edited had a "CycleHidden=Yes" entry. My apologies to anyone who may have suffered as a consequence of my error.

No problem Jim,
