HELP!!..Scenery trouble or...

SOH-CM-2022
:help:Yesterday I decided to have IFR-flight from Gatwik to Madeira. Problems in my sim I never have experienced before:

Several (all) default airports has disappeared, and the coastlines are looking very boxy, but only in the african continent ( with the Canary islands ).
Same issue in Australia

I'm trying to restore fs9 files using "Jim's Flightsim Pages", but I'm not sure where to start. CAB-files from disc 1, 2, 3 or 4...:faint:

If it was me, I'd be renaming my FS folder to 'Flight Simulator 9B' and reinstalling. After that I'd be copying all my stuff back in, most would be a all-at-once, but scenery one-at-a-time and testing as I went. But I'd maybe hold off until someone else chips in with a better solution?

Thanks for your advice Jamie. Maybe I'll give it try if no other solutions shows up. The scenery issue is only located in the african continent and Australia. As far I can see the rest of the sim looks OK! :typing:

AHH...problem solved!!!:jump:

The solution was rather simple. Inside the Senery.CFG-file I noticed this:

[General]
Title=FS9 World Scenery
Description=FS9 Scenery Data
Clean_on_Exit=FALSE

[Area.001]
Title=Default Terrain
Texture_ID=1
Layer=1
Active=TRUE
Required=TRUE
Local=Scenery\World
Remote=

[Area.002]
Title=Default Scenery
Local=Scenery\BASE
Layer=2
Active=TRUE
Required=TRUE
Remote=

[Area.003]
Title=Africa
Layer=3
Active=FALSE
Required=FALSE
Local=Scenery\Afri
Remote=

[Area.004]
Title=Asia
Layer=4
Active=TRUE
Required=FALSE
Local=Scenery\Asia
Remote=

[Area.005]
Title=Australia
Layer=5
Active=FALSE
Required=FALSE
Local=Scenery\Aust
Remote=

I just corrected the lines Active=FALSE to Active=TRUE, and then... :amen:
