    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FS 2004 Military skins - World War II

Description: This is a repaint for the shareware Curtiss P40C/Tomahawk Mk11B SP1 by Bruce Thorson. This model is avialable at Flightsim.com (hawk81b.zip)


This repaint shows one of the Tomahawk AN413 from 112 Squadron. The aircraft was often flown by John Phillip Bartle, Australian Ace, 112 Sqn. RAF, El Adem - Egypt, October 1941. 6,5 victories He went on to become CO of 450 Sqdn 1942-11-02 served with 112 Sqdn RAF, under RAF control; he survived being shot down in Kittyhawk Mk I, AK632 on 13/3/42. He often flew AN413, K, as did Sgt W E Carson (12/10/41) and P/O R D J Jeffries, it was coded 'K' and had 'Nan' in outline under the cockpit and forward of that a Kangaroo also in outline while with 112 Sqn., AN413 ,K went missing in action while being piloted by P/O R J D Jeffries, killed in action.(12/12//41).


To use this repaint you should have the shareware Curtiss P40C/Tomahawk Mk11B SP1 by Bruce Thorson installed. As the textures are saved in dtx3 format, these textures should also work on Bearcat241's CFS2 conversion of this model.
