I present to you, the US Navy Drill Team

Nice video - great find!! Those guys are GOOD!! :applause::applause::applause::applause:
I just passed it on to my relatives who served in the Navy. I'm sure they'll appreciate it.

That LT must have a lot of confidence in the skill of his troops! Great performance, it's good to know sailors can still do that military drill stuff.

I love drill teams! Having spent my four years at Kentucky Military Institute as a member of the "Kentucky Rifles" drill team, and my final year as one of the co-commanders of the team, I know precisely how the LT feels! :costumes:

We used M1 Garrand's with fixed, uncovered bayonets... :icon_lol:

I'm rather surprised that apparently "Ripples" and the "Queen Anne Salute" seem to have been forgotten. None of the videos I've found show them... :isadizzy:

We can't forget the Marine Corps!

Here are some pictures of the Kentucky Rifles during my fourth year at our Winter Quarters in Venice, Florida.

The first pic is a full "Queen Anne Salute."

The closeup (2nd pic) is me. Insurance wouldn't allow us to use bayonets while on parade. Whenever we stopped to perform our drill before the review stand, fixing bayonets was the first item in the routine! ;)

The third pic is a modified "Queen Anne Salute."

I dunno, I thought these guys were pretty sharp :costumes:
