• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

I Wish For The TU-4 BUll

I wish that a flight model of the TU-4 Bull would be made along with the Chinese Air Force version. The TU-4 was a copy of the B-29, The Russians used I think three AAF B-29s that made forced landings in 1944 in Soviet Territory to reverse engineer it. The TU-4 used differant engines and a differant bombsight...it was a very long and difficult process, but by the time they were in production, the USAF B-47 was in the air.

Gnoopey was building one as part of his fortress mania but that was a few years back. No idea what happened too it.
So I would second the request.
