IJN Guns and Weapons Pack - IJN Guns and Weapons Pack

Included in this pack are the most commonly used Japanese naval guns in service during WW2.
For those guns which have a dual purpose role, I have provided 2 versions to get around the different shell effects of AAA vs surface rounds -
1. Surface gun for engaging surface targets
2. Flak guns for engaging aircraft, these have AA in the file name. These guns also have a high noise value so they don't act like snipers but can on occasion still bring a aircraft down.

I have submitted for upload to the CFS 3 Weapons section, a naval gun pack for Imperial Japanese Navy ships, giving them their own weapons instead of using a mash up of US, UK and German weapons. All information regarding range, shell weights and firing rates have been simulated from various sources including Osprey Published books and the excellent http://www.navweaps.com/ site.

From the included notes -

Added 40mm AA
40mm62ijnAA - Flak gun
This weapon was a Vickers design based on the British 2-pdr. Mark II and used on single and twin mountings similar to those used for the British mountings. About 500 guns and 200 mountings were imported from Britain from 1925 to 1935. Used a 50 round belt although an unsuccessful attempt was made to increase this to 100 rounds.
Like all Vickers 2-pdr. guns, this weapon had a low muzzle velocity and a short effective range. For that reason, these guns...
