IOM TT Week.

"Michael Dunlop took a superb victory in the PokerStars Senior TT this afternoon.

The Hawk BMW rider set a new absolute lap record - breaking his own marker only set last Saturday in the RST Superbike TT Race - at 133.962mph.

He also set a new race record time for a six lap race on the Mountain Course.

Tyco BMW's Ian Hutchinson was the second man home, 31.476 seconds down on Dunlop, while John McGuinness on the Honda Racing CBR was third, a further 31.046 back."

Now that is absolutely flying, 'Mickey D' is stamping his authority on the present day TT, usually it has been John McGuinness setting the standard but this year it has been Michael Dunlop and Ian Hutchinson aboard their BMW
rides pushing the Japanese bikes aside.
On a sombre note, 4 deaths have cast a cloud over an otherwise excellent TT week.
I must get next year sorted, not missing out again.

Make that 5. I wonder what other sport would tolerate such a high rate of fatalities without some form of intervention.
