Is there any way to increase the size of the menu's?

On my 32" monitor the menu's are too small for my aging eye's.
Is there a way to make them bigger?
Adjusting the resolution in the sim doesn't seem to have any effect.
I'd like them to be double there current size if possible.

Can they be stretched by pulling on the corners? Will investigate further for a more permanent solution.

UPDATE:

Using a menu from my old FSX, I was able to increase the size and save as a .bmp but it won't affect the print inside of the menu, which is a whole other
can of worms.

Yep, in the sim, Go to 'Settings'
Then 'Display'
Then "Hardware' (on the top row of tabs)

There, you will find a list of screen resolutions, choose one with a lower number that you are currently using.

That should do it!

No you cant stretch the menu's unfortunately and changing the screen resolution in settings/hardware makes no difference to the menu's size either :(

Edit: a slight addendum, changing the screen resolution does work if I switch to full screen but not in windowed mode.
I usually run FS9 in windowed mode because full screen screws up the menu bar when in a flight.
