Just a few quick Qs

Q1. What is the optimum sort of speed to be looking at (or rather minimun) as i'm not sure that one ofthe a/c i'm looking at would be fast enough.

Q2. Is there a list of race approved a/c anywhere? Is the HS.780 by Rick Piper on it?

Q3. On aircraft not normally fitted with autopilot is it acceptable to fit an autopilot with the wing level and pitch hold functions in lieu of being able to properly trim for hands off flight?

Cheers.

Firebar,

Q1 - We tend to race warbirds that will cruise at 350Kias + and legs enough for 700nm.

Q2 - Ricks HS780 is legit. There is a list of aircraft that are not allowed on the official race website.

Q3 - Panel mods are allowed, but not on the stock classics.

For more detailed info, pop into the hideout and Im sure the guy's will point you in the right direction.

thanks

the warbirds thing is a bit of a prob for me sometimes. I end up with FS going at 1-3 fps and the inevitable crash that follows.

Warbirds eh......

would the tu-95 count for a wildcard leg.....
