Description: This is a repaint of a static display C-47A-80 DL Skytrain "The S.N.A.F.U Special" as she is displayed today as a tribute to the Brave Aircrews and the Men of the British 6th Airborne and U.S. 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions at the Merville Battery Museum in Normandy France.

Wanted to say thanks for making the Snafu Special.

When I took off in it, I had in mind to take some paratroopers with me. I noticed that the upper panel was not quite configured
to get the jumpers off like in the paratrooper version. I sorted it out and noticed that if you want the Snafu to be a paratrooper carrier then you have
to add the file panel_3.dds to the texture folder and that will give the red/green toggles needed to be a paratrooper plane. :encouragement:
 
Glad to know you like it. My paint is more of what she looks like today as a static museum piece, that's
why I didn't add the paratroopers panel file to the folder. Jankees is doing her wartime dress and should
be releasing it (if he hasn't already) to where he uploads all his paints. Either way it's good to know you
got it working and that it is easy to add the needed file for the perfect immersion factor.
