Glad you like it. I am only a few miles from there actually. Located between Sherman and Denison Texas (the Twin Cities) and west of Highway 75 which runs up through the State. This was an ADC Base (Air Defense Command) in the 60's and early 70's (F-102's) as well as a pilot training base going back to the early 50's. I was stationed here from 1968 until 1970. I came back to work here after retiring in 2007 from Carswell AFB and actually worked out of two of the hangars you picture here. The company I worked for restored WWII aircraft.

BTW, I think that Ed did another big airport close by, Sherman Municipal (KSWI) found here :

I haven't had time to download it yet, but the preview pics look fantastic!
Sherman Municipal was my very first airport done with all custom objects. I went to see the Airport Manager, told him what I wanted to do (take gobs of pictures of all sides of every building on the Field). I told him my Military background, working around fighters and he was satisfied that I was safety conscious enough to stay out of the way of taxiing airplanes and not get run over, lol. I took a ton of pictures specifically to be used as textures for the buildings. When it was done and released I had some pilots who fly into the airport that said it felt just like they were there. . .high praise considering I was "winging it" for a first project.

North Texas Regional was done the same way, but it took many months of going back for better shots or to get shots I had forgotten. I had free reign of the ramp to take shots of everything, as many as I needed. . .(Just don't get run over), lol
