'Le Mans 1970'.

Downloaded and installed, now to decide which car I'm going to drive first..!
The 512M, 312P, Matra 650, GT40, Porsche 908, 910, 914, 911 or even the mighty 917...? :jump:

The JW Porsche 908/3!!!!
:applause:
A little dissapointed to be honest, the handling idiosyncracies of the cars is too exagerated (the 911s are just way off!) and the modelling is a mixed bag, but it's worth the D/L and some tweaking.

Slightly disappointed here as well, but you have to keep in mind this is a conversion of an old mod for one of the EA F1 sims that were released in 2000-2002. The sounds are great, and the number of different cars is amazing (But where did that Chapperal go?) . The cars are as fragile as the real things were, but like you said Wombat, the physics might need some tweaking. I tried the 917K at Le Mans 1970 and the car just lifted off over the hump at the end of the Mulsanne straight!

The Ferrari 312P was a lot of fun to drift around the Toban GP track, and the Healey wasn't bad around the long 'Brianza' track. By default the cars seem to understeer a lot though. The AI seemed to struggle with the hairpin at the end of the Le Mans straight, all of them running off the track there. The 908/3 is a nice addition compared to the previous versions of this mod, and others like the Alfa 33/3 and Matra M605 are still very much favourites of mine. Hearing that Matra V12 howl brings me right back to the days of GP Legends.

:)
