• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

This message was send to me about a week ago by someone having W10 and wanting to try to re-install CFS1 on his machine with my "patch";

After several attempts to install, given up, keep getting..............ERROR fsswtest.exe

couldnt load lanquage resource DLL
error g:\english.fll
error code Ox7E(126)
aborting
looks like I`ll have to live on memories of cfs ww11europe series.
Seems windows 10 doesnt like the good old stuff.

I know for a fact that CFS1 can work on W10, thanks to NoDice keeping me updated, but, not having W10, I'm basically in no position to help that guy.

If anyone could help him, in the spirit of SOH motto and of the holidays, it would be a well-deserved gift to this fellow "die-hard". So here is your chance play Santa! :santahat:
