Last week we had the pleasure of visiting a new aviation museum in Port Clinton, OH. Although the museum is small it has a lot to offer. Their primary focus is divided between building (it's not a restoration) a Ford Tri-Motor from scratch, to maintaining and operating their B-25 "Georgie's Gal". (There's also a local group who are currently rebuilding an Elco PT boat.)
The museum hosts a lot of Tri-Motor related items, various vehicles and military items, and a collection of personal items of Clark Gables; uniforms, discharge certificate (surprise who signed it), other military memorabilia from his stint in service.
While there plan to eat at the Tin Goose Diner. The decor and atmosphere is right out of the 50's and the food is incredible! http://www.tingoosediner.com/menu.html
