Can anyone here point me to a comprehensive list of tweaks for fs2004? If I google with the term 'tweaks for fs2004' I only see fragmentary bits of information. The tweaks and tips forum above isn't any better than that.

Welcome back to The Great Unwashed of FS2004. :loyal:

To me, the obvious first changes are to make sure you install the FS9.1 update and the "No CD" patch.
The next thing I would install is FSUIPC.

After that, you might want to concentrate on your "skybox", sun, clouds, and water textures. There were also some handy updates for things like stars and the moon. These were downloads that used to be listed at flightsim.com as "must haves" for FS9. After that, I would be looking at updated mesh and ground textures in the parts of the world you want to be more detailed.

After that, it really depends on what Era you're shooting for. 1900's, 1930's, WWI, WWII, 1950's, etc.

I switched over to FS9 from FS2002 back in 2015-ish and I'm still building things out. :dizzy:

I should have been more specific: I meant tweaks for the fs9.cfg to improve performance and get rid of the blurring.

Here is a Youtube, with links..
& maybe..

Don't forget that "FS2004 Tweaks & Tips" thread up near the top of the FS2004/2002 page, up above the current thread index.

Not entirely insignificant is the optimal setting of the graphics. The more efficient the card, the more important the optimal values are. For example, there is not enough attention to the fact that, for example, the value of "Vertical Sync" should be set to "1/2 Refresh Rate". It doesn't make a huge difference, but it's still an improvement.
