    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Looking for Afghanistan Scenery

Hello,anyone know of any FS9 Military scenery for Afghanistan.Trying to get scenery for Camp bastian or anything military come to that...cheers
 
I don't know of any. After having flown in, out and around there on and off for the past five years, there is nothing available that can do Afghanistan justice. It's an incredible place with some unbelievable airfields and scenery. Right now, I'd bet the mountains look like they're covered in powdered sugar. Sorry for the diversion!
 
There is a nice little FS9 freeware package by MCDesigns that includes Afghanistan and Iraq scenery.

I found a really good Bagram AFB afcad somewhere. I know when I use it some of the Military AI Works packages show up there.
 
There's some terrain mesh available at avsim by Yohann Baptiste.

I downloaded this scenery when it was released and my AVAST! Antivirus went haywire which caused me to delete the scenery straight away.
Meanwhile I've read an article on "false positives being triggered by the wrapper..."
I'd be keen to download the scenery again if someone could confirm that the file is clean... someone who uses a different antivirus perhaps?

I scanned it with NOD32 & Windows Live One Care and no problems. It's clean.
