On a January night in 1942 Lt Col Leo Dawson USAAF led 33 Lockheed A-29 Attack Bombers taking off from Miami Airport across the south atlantic, north africa, to chinese air bases, it would be the first attemp to build up the 10th Far East Air Force...they would be followed by Lt Col Doolittle's B-25B airplanes who would be also absorbed into the 10th Air Force after their attack on Japan they would land their B-25s at bases near Chunking, refuel and join Col Dawson's A-29 Bombers and begin attacks on Japanese airfields.

Cheers

For some reason, the "A-29" was rarely used when referring to the Hudson Bomber. I had to look it up even though I saw a lot of them during the war.
