I am running p3d 2.4 with a few aircraft addons (Classic Fw-190s, Carenado 337, a2a He-219 and Corsair) and I noticed that while selecting one aircraft to another in the aircraft selection screen eats up my system's memory, and causes the sim to crash. As soon as I start a flight, the memory usage drops to expected levels. What's going on?
 
It is indeed a memory leak. I have the same problem and I also use P3D v2.4. It also happens when I switch aircrafts during a flight.
I don't know if this was fixed in the 2.5 though.
 
I didn't have that issue in V2.5 nor V3. I do remember having that issue in V2 thru 2.4. Always ticked me off in FSE.
 
I have it in 2.5. If I don't change aircraft, I can fly for hours. If I change aircraft twice, V2.5 will crash after about 2 minutes in second aircraft.:banghead:
