SOH-CM-2023
With this latest MilViz update, I am starting to see the potential available in this model. The FDE is starting to blossom and the MilViz is crossing off their to-do list to bring this model fully up to speed. I have spent several hours in and out of Bowerman (hopefully we will soon see the rest of my beloved Orbx Airports in FTX Central 3) and believe I have flown it enough to appreciate the work that has been done on improving the flight characteristics. The model is still a WIP for me, however, it is now one that I will now regularly fly- much different than before v170829, and so I thought I would share what I saw this afternoon on the way to Sea-Tac. The plan is to overfly Vashon and then continue into KSEA....
Gunnar's superb N9028 livery has also been updated, and so here we go...
Remember being a kid, and standing on your tippy-toes to peek over the airport fence and get a better look? I do....
After warming up with coffee and Flap-Jacks at Lana's we warmed up the engine and lined up at Bowerman....
Being light today (2 tanks full and 1 pilot on board) I decided to use only 30"... would that prove enough?
Yes, it was! The key was to remember to pull the prop back to 22 smartly.....
Here we are at 3000 and running east to begin our left turn to Vashon...
