SOH-CM-2014
are the mirrors on spits in eto suppose to work in other words when flying in a dog fight ,i cant see anything behinde me ,as the mirrors are not activated , quesiton is ,,,are they suppose to work for such

If I remember correctly, I don't think they do (you can tell how long it's been since I flew a Spit in a dogfight).

Hi Loverboy (can't believe I just said that :costumes:l!)

CFS3 doesn't support working mirrors :( There's a workaround to give a mirror effect which they use in OFF. This is my one major gripe with cfs3, working mirrors add so much to the immersion.

Hi Lewis,

the work around in OFF only creates a reflection of the scenery (its linked to the scenery tiles somehow), you cant see a plane behind you.

in the WWI planes this workaround is not to bad, but for a WWII cockpit with gauges way down low on the panel well out of sight (for want of a better word) it looks funny seeing a reflection of grass etc on the front of the gauge.

HTH

regards Rob.
