Missing my sliders

Hi all. I have a little problem with a fresh install of FS9 not allowing the sliders to move in the settings. This applies to all the settings and I was told that this topic has been discussed here at Sim Outhouse before but I was also told about the server crash not so long back and the threads being reset.
I've tried deleting my FS9.cofig, video drivers, reinstalling and even downloading a fresh copy of FS9 (incase my discs were corrupt) but still I have the same problem. Any help and I will be most greatfull.
I'm running
Xp SP3
AMD Phenom Triple core 2.1
Nvidia 7050M motherboard
Geforce 8600GTS 512mb

Problem Solved.

I run a program called "Windows Blind Themes, this little program changes the way Xp looks and I was useing the vista aero theme. I looked nice but it seems to conflict with FS9. So I've unloaded WBT and all is as it should be YIPEE.
