Mission Building

Back after a long gap away from cfs1 and its so fun to play all my old missions I had saved on CD's from back in the day,

Plus, I am able to open them up in Cor's mission editor.

What I do not remember is how I was able place gunboats so precisely in this river in France, or place extra ground targets around an airfield.
Was I somehow able to zoom in, like in CFS2's mission builder? I can't recall and its driving me crazy.

Anybody out there still using Cor's builder or anybody recall some tip and tricks to mission building?

Thanks

Next task, search old posts on this and the Ark Royal, my other thread.

This all came back to me over time.
1. Place objects in the general area using the mission builder.
2. play the mission and flyover the area, (river, road or airbase) hit pause and shift-Z and note the coordinates.
3. open the mission in Notepad and type in the coordinates.

hope this helps!

That sounds quite tedious, but then again most things in CFS are actually quite tedious if you get deep enough into the details.
