Model Converter X question

This all looks like quite a bit more trouble than just setting up the desired plane as an AI aircraft programmed not to fly away except once a week some time in the middle of the night.

All for a single skin, too.

I can make a scenery bgl from almost any plane except these very old ones quickly and easily with SAMM, and I can open most existing bgls and change the coordinates with bglxml & bglcomp. It's starting to look like the majority of models tha can't be handles with those programs are the same ones that can't be handles by MCX. I guess that sort of figures, since they were made using software that's long been out of use and newer software wasn't written to work with them.

Great, well done Dave.

I had modded it in FSDS to sit correctly, glass closed and transparent.

But a DOH for me, I know what the prob is, it's to do with scale, as I'm rusty (my excuse!) I left out an important step, which I normally do to put scale back in.

Thanks in a round about way for jogging the old memory!

Cheers

Yup.. I guess that once they're at this sort of stage.. they could be scaled in MCX or even in Instant Scenery (though the latter seems less precise) but in the end.. I'd be inclined to go down the tried and trusted method of making a flightplan to get them all to show too.;)
