A few random snaps from a previous life.
I always (still do) preferred my drives to have a bit of extra oversteer in their set up, sideways was the fast way.
Frank Matich was one of the leading constructor-drivers during the F5000 years, the Matich A50 series might not have been pretty but in his hands they were very successful.
Frank was never afraid to experiment!
Not one of my shots (I couldn't afford color back then!) taken at the Sandown Park Tasman Cup round in early 1973. 'Functional' is the best way I can describe the A51.
