Multiplayer Connection

Has anyone any experience of using multiplayer in P3D v2.3? When ever I've tried to connect to a server, it's unable to connect, but I can still connect to them using FSX.

Hi Ian,

did you check the sticky above?

You'll need the FSHostClient for connecting to open FSHOST servers, or stick to P3D proprietary servers.

What servers did you try to connect to?

Cheers,
Mark

FSHost is indeed widely used.
I tried multiplayer once with P3D, we used TeamViewer to create a local VPN, then we could connect to each other sessions.
Interesting thing is that despite having FPS set to unlimited, the other platyer's aircraft movements were normal, unlike in FSX.

No Mark,
I hadn't seen the sticky. Here are the servers that I tried to connect to:

204.111.230.249 KJFK

97.80.187.194 KORD

104.158.16.89 KPHL

24.210.182.113 KMIA

I hope you can make sense of that! I'm afraid online flying is a mystery to me.

Regards,
Ian
