A funny thing happened on a Combat Air Patrol mission in aBoB era campaign in an ETO expansion install. Took off with a flight of 6 Beau 252s, and intercepted 8 Do-17s 7 miles from the airbase. After a frantic period I couldn't work out what had happened to two of my flight, and their assigned target. On recalling the wingmen I got a bearing and flew in that direction.

What I found was a Do-17, that had landed in a forest, rather shot up but the crew was intact.

Also thrown in are some screenies of 20mm flak from a US destroyer - those ETO effects are awesome! :applause:

Ship damage effect

This screenie shows a ship with probably around 95% damage. However I was interested to see that one lone turret survived. I had tweaked the xdp in an attempt to be able to knock out individual guns more readily, without actually sinking the ship.

Haven't tested it enough to see if the mods are successful.

And another screenie just for kicks, given overwhelming feedback from first series.. :woot:
