• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

Very nice exterior model, let's hope a decent panel and a VC are still in the works.

I agree, didn't download because it is a Beta and the screens tell me what I need to know about the external model. The true test will be in the internal workings of the airplane. . .with a nicely done VC and even 2d, this would be a sure winner. . .so much so that even if it was to be payware and everything was up to snuf, I'd shell out some bucks for it.
 
If you have the Eaglesoft Citation X, drop Panel.1 into the Sovy and you'll be close. They share the same basic cockpit layout except the Soverign is a 4 screen panel vs the X's 5

Tried it... I like it!

No offense to Chuck but I prefer this one's exterior model to his. Just seems a bit more accurate to me. Poly count is a bit high (north of 50,000, kinda high for a model with no real interior or 3D modeled windows) I'd compare it to the POSKY Legacy 600 which is a bit lighter in the polygon department.

Flight model is a decent hand flier but I think the fuel consumption seems a little high to me, but I haven't flown it any distance yet.

As for a panel, I did a bash together of Eaglesoft's Cit X interior views, Dave Durst's Cit X engine gauges along with Reality XP Jet Line 4's combined with a reworked FS 98 Sovereign panel I found at Flightsim. Works good enough for me.

Despite the lack of a VC, this one's a keeper.

I can't share my panel due to the payware elements, just something I threw together for myself.

I'll add to the chorus - this one ticks all the boxes for external modelling. Very smooth.
