Hi all,
I am on tenterhooks at the moment.Just paid the deposit on my new computer on Saturday.Should be built by next Saturday.Decided not to go for the new I7 chip just yet.The spec of the new machine is,
Intel Core 2 extreme QX9650 CPU
Nvidea GTX280 graphics card
4GB OCZ 1066mhz DDR 3 performance memory
1TB Seagate Hard drive with 32mb cache
Creative X-Fie Extreme Music soundcard
MSI P35 Diamond motherboard
Antec 1200 Gamer case
OCZ 750W modular power-supply
Thermalake V1 cpu cooler
2LG DVD burners and a floppy to round it off.
Just had to tell some one.

Sounds pretty similar to what I'm getting. Parts ordered from newegg today. Hope it works well for you too! :ernae:

Amazing that 1 Terrabyte drives are out now. The name still reminds me of Star Trek..

Congrats, Buddha! I'm one week into my 3 week wait on my Falcon box. Been backing up my current FS files to the backup external, making sure everything will get moved over.....:typing:

I'm looking forward to getting FSX loaded out and tweaked on the new box along with all the goodies I've been using for FS9.

I've also been looking at those 24" widescreen monitors and wondering which one would be the best for FS. My NEC FP2141SB 21 inch CRT is going on 4 years old, but it FS still looks good on it so I'll keep it a little longer.

Anticipation is a good thing......:jump:
