• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

New SOH paint scheme this year for RTWR?

Been thinking... are we going to get a new SOH paint scheme this year for the more Popular aircraft?
 
I can't paint my thumb, however I could use an update of:
1. WOP P-47M. (text on tail to 2009 or remove the year alltogether)
2. Gnoops' P-47 SOH paint could use a refresh.
3. A Bomber12th Bearcat paint screaming for a SOH logo! :d
 
We need a painter... wanted to add something to my plane to thank Aces. Of course I would then give it to one of our real pilots who could show it off better than me.
 
7 dozen things to do but I've been thinking of it. at least a simple logo to use.

John, only one I can help with right quickly is the 'Cat. Won't take much to update the year on the tail

Well Take that a step further. create a logo / banner and place it on all skinns even the ones with out a SOH paint.

Then distribute this logo to the other 4 teams let them do the same. Then as a community we are showing out support.

The question is what is the Logo.

I sure wouldn't mind having that gleaming silver skin for the WOP P-51H, but I don't know if a simple Alpha channel tweek would be enough.

But I'd like to keep my skin for Gnoopy's P-47:

...but a new rtw logo is certainly in order.
 
So if I create a layer with something thanking Aces... that we can put in a prominent place.... I will pass it off here. :rapture:
