'NFL Stuff'

Boston Has a "THING" for shipping out star players..Baseball,Football,and twidly winks!!Seems they did not forgive Wes for that Superbowl drop.,a while back....You missed the new tackling rules....It seems a "MAMBY PAMBY" epdimic has infected the USA,to include Football!!..Players them selves are vocal against these new rules...So lets all look forward to a New Football game in which the Refs are the Stars, and determine games, with a Blow of the Whistle ,calling unlimited penalties, and pick winners...YUCK!!!......I am getting interested in Rugby now!..

I've been hooked on Rugby ever since I played it for a couple of years back in the late 'eighties... It doesn't deserve the rep it has with some people about being more violent than American football, although IMHO it requires a better all-around athlete to play well... It was a blessing to be able to watch the Six Nations Tournament on BBC America recently...

I also have to give a shout out to our Australian friends here as well- Australian Rules Football (I've heard they call it 'Footie' down under) is great to watch as well. Unfortunately, it's not televised near often enough around here...

Agree, for my money Aussie football is much more entertaining than 'merican football.

The Bears dump Urlacher... too bad GreenBay isn't inclined to grab free agents. I'd pick him up just to play against the Bears.
