• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Nimitz and Ike V2

gray eagle

SOH-CM-2025
Where can I download the latest and greatest USS Nimitz & Ike V2 by Javier Fernandez, FX par Sylvain Parouty, that does not have the installer? So far, all I've found it the Rickooo installer version.

I'm interested in manually installing it; For Ai carriers.

EDIT:
I found a site that has the manual install version - Now I wonder if the file content is the same for the auto install version at rickooo? The installer will detect if you have FSX or P3D and go from there.

Both say "v2.0", so I'm at least 84.47325% sure that the actual models are identical.

And good to see somebody else with a preference for manual installs. I kind of get the point for having an autoinstaller for payware add-ons (looks more professional), but for freeware, a well packed .zip with an adequate readme will do the job much better while being a better teaching tool for add-on installation to boot.

They ARE identical. I managed to get the installer to install to a different directory; then I compared folders and files. Same-o Same-o
