NVidia Shadow Play. . . .How?

I've seen posts by members in the past that claim to have been using Shadow Play to capture video of their flights. How is that being done? I have GeForce Experience and it scans your system for all "Games", but apparently FSX and P3D are not recognized. . .so how are you using Shadow Play? I don't see any option that allow you to "add" additional games to the list.

Hi Falcon,

Open GE Force Experience.

Open "Settings", and the "General" tab (it should be on top).

There will be an option called "In Game Overlay". Turn this on. You can also adjust settings for this here. When you open games, the overlay indication will pop up for a second or two in the top right corner, just a sort of reminder.

When you are in game ( or sim, FSX, P3D or other) press Alt + Z. This will open up a control panel and/or enable the recording overlay. As long as this is enabled you can close the actual overlay so that it can't be seen. If you see the indication pop up when you are starting then you shouldn't even need to use Alt + Z to open. Once it is enabled, use Alt + F9 to start and stop a recording. The videos will be stored in folders named after the sim you are using, in your Admin (your name)/videos folder.

I have made a mess of explaining it, so in dot points:

- Open GE Force Experience and make sure In Game Overlay is enabled

- In P3D (for example) press Alt + F9. If nothing happens, try Alt + Z first, then use Alt + F9 to start and stop the recording.

I'll give that a try, thanks!
