• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

Offline for 2 days?

Since I am changing OS they are giving us 7 days to do the move. Also both servers will be online, so our downtime will be small if any.

this morning the server went down and it took 3 hours to get it to re boot, I was worried.

any way I have to have this complete by next Monday. I go into the hospital to have a heart cauterization, and maybe a stint or bi-pass.
I do not want to worry about this server while I recuperate.

if you do not see me monday than I had one or the other, (stint or bi-pass) and have to spend some time in the hospital.

Thank you for working so hard that we are not going to be offline for two days :engel016:. I have planned my vacation going to the Singer Island this weekend, stopping over at Deerfield, before going to Arizona (in August)!!

My thoughts and prayers go with you - even more than you know. I too am having the very same medical procedure today so maybe we can compare notes afterwards - just kidding. How ironic is this?

Hay Ron ,
You will get through this procedure without a problem . Had a heart cath with two stents placed in one artery a year ago last July 3 . I hav,nt had a problem since . The heart cath itself is not a painful procedure . Good luck and thanks for all the great work you do here at SOH .
