For those flight simulator X enthusiasts like myself who fly Australian Airspace there is a treat for you. If you have not heard of this company then you are missing out on what australia has to offer in the way of Payware textures for australian airspace. BEfore this company was formed Australia was a dull and lifeless experence and really unpleasurable to fly. Then suddenly Orbx nailed a Texture and landclass package that blew us Aussies away. They have released 3 main regions with the final for australia nearing release.

Now Orbx just doesnt concentrate on Land Class and textures they also release Airports as well. Now the good thing about Orbx is for every payware they release they release two freeware products of the same quality. Up to date they have made YMML - Melbourne International, YSCH - Coffs Harbour YPJT - Jandakot. These three are paywear.

Ok They were the paywear airports and like i said above they release freewear airports of equal quality. To date they have Release YBLN - Buselton, YRED - Redcliffe, YLIL - Lillydale, YMLT - Launceston with more getting produced as i write this post.

For those of you who dont fly australian airspace you are still in luck. They have already started work on Pacific North West and will be giving the world a bit of a makeover. If you ask for my opinion it is like FS11 released early.

Thanks for the informative post Rusty073, but we are all pretty familiar with the FTX products, great stuff for sure. Waiting for other parts of the world!
 
And don't forget the huge (and soon to be updated...again) OzX package for FTX. Rather lovely stuff. Plus they offer tons of repaints for Australia based planes. Good stuff!

I knew i missed one freewear but couldnt for the life of me remember which one it was. And i was getting to OZX who are responsible for all the little strips and as well as other countries. I do believe there is one for mexico and photo realistic Grand Canyon
