Linda and I are on a cruise ship near the Hubbard Glacier up the inlet from Yakatat - PAYA - right now.

Yesterday we were in Ketchikan and took a flight in a Beaver float plane to Misty Fiords National Monument. The bird was build in 1952, a few months before I was born. We landed on one of the lakes and I got to sit in the right hand seat for the flight back. The Beaver has a glass panel with a GPS which looks one heck of a lot like the FS2004 GPS screen and a PFD. About 4-5 inches across.

Theses are a couple pics. We flew on N5160G, not the plane in this photo.

I'll have more pictures when we get back

Looking good, Reggie. Great fun! We all envy you in the right seat of the Beaver...

A consistent think from the tour guides on the cruise.

"Eagles are not born bald or with their head white."

To which I replied "Neither was I"
