Out with the Ferrari and in with the Chevy

OK, I just got finished with the Ferrari of US Military Hangars, now let's look at the Chevy/Ford/Dodge midsize generic version.

I Give you the USN Type BM (really) Landplane/Seaplane Hangar. It's not very exciting, but it's almost everywhere.

Just uploaded to Avsim, so it should be available shortly. I've been uploading quite a few standard hangers and other objects here lately, it's time for someone to step up to the plate and start making some military airports with them.

Man.. In the old days, you could build cars in a building that size...

Awesome architecture Jim!

And Happy Thanks Giving,

Glad to hear it Trans.

I can't take any credit for the Architecture, just for the facsimile. The original architects for the NAS JAX hangers was Robert and Company Architects and Engineers, and apparently they still do some aviation-centric design work. According to their website, they've been in business since 1917 and have done work at Atlanta Hartsfield, among others.

That is one big hanger................... and well done at that! :ernae:

NP...i'll probably have to build another NAS with all these extra buildings, and the new ones from the prints I found.
