This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. Another product of the talented crews of Midwest Aero Restorations, "Red Dog" emerged from restoration in the summer of 2006, winning Reserve Grand Champion at EAA Oshkosh the same year. During its service life, this aircraft operated with the Texas ANG, the Dominican Republic Air Force as FAD 1919, and later restored and flown as "Tally Ho II" from 1986-1999.
