P3D Sea Fury

Jens pointed out that our Sea Fury model had an issue with decaying frame rates in P3D. I actually got the same problem but hadn't noticed as I don't appear to have flown it for long enough to notice! Fortunately I managed to resolve it by re-exporting the MDL files as true P3D 2.5 ones. There was also a slight issue with a gauge sending continuous commands to the sim unnecessarily.

Download the two files linked below, then extract the MDL files from the zip and place them in the Sea_Fury/Model folder. Cowl.xml goes in the Sea_Fury/Panel/Fury folder.

You'll still need the base FSX pack which is available from our website http://flyingstations.com for, I don't know, $15 or something. These MDL won't work in FSX but I don't know why they fix the problem!

Excellent !! Thanks a lot for this update. My Sea Fury was collecting dust in my P3D hangar. The time to clean her up has come:jump:

Brilliant! That really makes a difference! Many thanks! :jump:

It makes me wonder if FPS in other models might be improved by compiling for P3D???

Also, might TacPack integration be possible for the Sea Fury, and others?
