• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Its out and I'm downloading ATM.

For those wondering they still don't ask for any ID or whatnot other than you credit card details, I'l leave it at that and say no more on the subject :wink:
 
Currently downloading at 5 MB/sec another 20-25 min remaining. Anyone wants me to start posting pics... I suggest we open a v3 Screenshot request thread.
 
I am so looking forward to screenshots and reports! This might be the version I finally buy:jump:

Hi Robert,

Unfortunately, that feature isn't ready and was added to the Change list by mistake. That's why it's MIA now.
It will probably appear in a point release around 3.1 or 3.2.

I would be extremely disappointed to do a complete reinstall, fire up the sim and find that one of the most anticipated features is still WIP.

Might follow the posts and decide in a few days. Still, I'm sure it's pretty awesome.
 
Its runs great on my rig, hi 30's to low 40's over London in the A2A Cub (copied over from v2.5, itself copied from FSX).
There's no need to uninstall 2.5 as 3 installs as a separate Sim and they don't interfere with each other.

I did find one bug so far. When ATC speaks all aircraft sound go really quiet and the ATC is barely audible even though I turned voices up to max in the options.
 
Ok I just bought V3 Twice lol. Once for me and then my Son as he attends a Special Aviation Academy instead of Public School. So my son will delighted when he see's P3D Academic on his School Computer. Now as to me lol. Do you have to remove a previous version? or can I leave it there for comparative Flight/scenery testing till V3 and addon devs catch up?

You can run 3.0 with a previous version installed . I recently uninstalled 2.5 and decided to start from scratch with 3.0 .

I have both versions running concurrently, it works fine and is a nice way to bridge time while 3rd party catches up.

They don't share any configuration files/settings/whatnot at all, and can be managed independently.
