pCars and Assetto Corsa contrasts.

Much to my disgust it seems as if AC is not happy at high res settings, or rather the graphics are not.
I can run pCars at 3620x2036x2 @120Hz with triple figure FPS, but running Assetto Corsa under the same numbers is not very pretty.
Even dropping back to 2560x1440 is less than satisfactory, it appears that the optimum resolution for AC is 1920x1440, rather wasteful on my BenQ XL2730Z, more so if I go ahead with the Acer Predator XB1 XB271HU that I've been considering.
FSX and P3D, NFS and NFFS2, even Dirt 2 cruise along very well at 3620x2036, although NFS is not as sharp as the others.
And I do load up 4K repaints for AC when they are available.

AC Porsche 908LH at 2560x1440, not that but compared to pCars...........

The thing is, once you have been running at 3620x2036x2 stepping down to the lower resolution is a bit of a bummer!

Not a pretty car but it performs better than I expected.
Really strange colour scheme, replaced it with the classic Marlboro version.

I discovered I can spin the Toyota 86 and not hit the Armco (most times!) on the California Coast road, so far three times in one run is my best result, but the rubber ends up rooted!
