This is the scheme that TD248 was well known for on the airshow circuit in Britain. From its first post-restoration flight in 1992 until 2005, the scheme this Spitfire wore represented a post war racing scheme as painted on a 41 Squadron Spitfire F.21 as used in races at Blackpool. Spitfire Mk.XIV RN201 still retains similar colours. This texture was originally made by Hammerd for Plane Design as free textures for the original release in FS9.
