Plenty of life left in the old sim!

Some new mods for the classic GT Legends; not bad for a seven year old game!

Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. Great engine, terrible brakes.

Jaguar D-type. Low power in the lower RPMs, tricky handling. Both single and double seaters included.

The author of these two also did an Aston Martin DBR1, but I need to wait for my download limit to reset at No-Grip racing before I can get that one.

My favorite, the Maserati 450S. Beautful model, drives well, sounds awesome. Comes with 4.5 and 5.7 liter versions.

Slightly more modern, the Lotus Esprit Turbo:

And speaking of new cars for old sims: there's a good Corvette C4 mod for GTR2 over at No-grip with street models:

Nice, tempted to reach for the dusty shelf, but I cannot remember did GTL have that awful Starforce thing? Last time I tried to install a Starforce game on this PC I ended up having to format it it seized things up at a very low level.

i started to purchase this,,but it says windows 2000/xp only for the (old version) i saw a website ( support) with several updates,do i get the old version for 2000/xp,run as administrator, run the right click and "run as XP program" selected?..then download the upgrades?

i also looked at a GTR evolution, but it said it was for a game called race 7...i would like what you have on the screen shots....

are there "cheat codes" for gt ledgends to unlock cars and tracks? (old version)

Dave, once you get starforce out of the way (Which the link above does) then the old GT Legends works great on Windows 7, even on my 64-bit system. GTR2 works too, as does GTR Evo.
Evolution comes in two versions, an upgrade for Race07 and a stand-alone version; no classic cars for that particular sim that I know of though.

The official specs require Win2000/XP but the original game was released back in 2005. No official support for Vista or win7 obviously.

If you check the downloadsection at no-grip you can find a small file to unlock everything in GTL: http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=788

You are right Eddie, but I have an original vintage 2005 CD which does have starforce so I had to get a download version without. :)

I have a newer version of a different game, and it comes with SF. Doesn't work real well with Win 7, that's for sure!

Don't forget about American Muscle cars Dave! Like the Cuda-

And the GT500-

At least I don't treat them like Ferry does with this truck!:icon_lol:

ok...i love that falcon.....you can make your own?.....one more question cause i cant seem to see the answer...and yes..im going to the optomitrist friday....tired of squinting and tilting my head....but i have a wheel with a shifter, with gas, break, and clutch,,will the game support the clutch and shifter?..or?...did i jump the gun again..atleast i do know trackir works with it acorrding to thier site

Your wheel should work just fine Dave, go into the controller section in GTL to set it up. As far as making a car for the sim, I believe you will need 3 DS Max, very expensive designing program. But there are plenty of cars to download and install, like those 3 in the pics I put up.Also a Charger, Roadrunner, Mustang GT350 like McQueens in "Bullit", plenty of different tracks to add too! The Falcon comes with a 351 Cleveland, there are 3 different Falcons to choose from.
