Prepar3D v2.0 Released!

Thanks to the UBER FAST connection at the library

I am in process of installing Prepar3D v2. After backing up the goodies of course! :)

Show stopper. FSUIPC needs updated. v4.9.2 will not recognize v2 Prepar3D.exe

Other than the flight beginning at full throttle hauling Aston Martin down the runway that I haven't figured out how to stop, all is good. Somewhat.

Will do too same. Cant read still this good posts simply ;).
Now Im waiting for new SSD 500Gb for P3Dv2 but dont want to unistall FSX for sure. Too many good addons....

I finally figured out why FSUIPC v4.9.2 was not installing. I had backed up the Modules folder from v1.4, and copied it over to the v2.0 install. This didn't work even though it was the same directory path. So I deleted everything inside the modules folder and re-installed. FSUIPC works fine now. All my aircraft are working just fine.

Prior to uninstalling v1.4, I backed up all my aircraft, gauges, effects, scenery, module, add-on scenery, and 3rd party folders and then uninstalled P3D v1.4. The uninstall went without troubles. Only thing is I thought was convenient was that everything I went through and backed up manually, was all that was left after uninstalling. So there's no need to back up manually. I would suggest you back things up manually yourself and then do the uninstall routine as the read-me suggests. Once you do, you'll see what I'm talking about. It appears that this new version only uninstalls the default install.

So far, I like what I'm seeing. The added features and enhancements really add a lot to the environment. My GTX570 seems to be handling things rather well. That's a plus.

V2.0 is loaded with features and adjustments to tweak about everything possible. Which makes it nice.
