Hi Ted,

I just got chance of a AMD 9950BE cheap, what AM2+ Mobo would you suggest?

I have 4gig DDR2 800mhz Patriot Ram and an 8800gtx GPU.

Sata Raptor HDD's Etc, Good Noctua cooler. 1000w Psu.

I know it's not as good as Intel, but it,s cheap unused, boxed and from a friend who can't use it, it also beats my 6400x2.

Bruce.

ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe is really full featured and inexpensive board for what it is capable of. I am assuming you will be using SLI features as this is an Nvidia board. It compares extremely well against MSI 790FX board which I have built for a friend. If I were choosing today this one would win the prize.

Here is decent review of it:

Thank you Ted for your reply, it's a great help to me thanks again.

I had looked at the Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe, the AMD 790FX version because I am not worried about SLI, I would rather use a single GPU card.

The price over here is about the same as the Nvidia version.
