• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Ok, so I am currently thinking about getting a DVD sent to me and I was wondering whats the differences between Phase 2 and Phase 3. I want the free phase 2 but if there is a lot of big differences I will put the money out for Phase 3. By the way I am new to this site, flown CFS3, FSX, FS004 for years and I just watched Flyboys, so I really wanted to find a game that is like that

as far as ph3 goes if your a sigle player then most defintly the campaings stuff is awesome mp issues are being wokred
 
Before you buy Phase 3, I would get a copy of Phase 2, which, IMO is a great sim in it's own right. If you're not used to flying WWI era aircraft, Phase 2 will allow you to get a "feel" for it before jumping on Phase 3 where the AI is much deadlier! Just look at it as a training exercise before the big push. If you would like a copy of Phase 2, I could send you one, no charge, unless you're the kind who likes to dive into danger head first! If you are that kind, by all means, order Between Heaven and Hell, either way you won't regret it

PS: OFF is not a scripted sim. Every campaign is different. You could join at the same date, same squadron, etc, and it will be different from the last. That's the beauty of it, no shortage of surprises! Unfortunately the war always ends the same way. You can recreate history, but you can't change it, though some have tried.
