KLB Static Library Objects By Kalle Busse

This is a collection of many objects that you can place in scenery with tools like Instant Scenery 3 and other like tools if you are into that sort of thing. Many of these were built for various sceneries that Al Von PIngel, Ian Elliot and I have been working on, many others are generic and can be used anywhere. Each library of objects starts with KLB so they will be grouped together in your scenery placement tools.

RAF Middle east-Near east 1962 project is a large scenery project by AVP , Kalle Busse and myself and will be released in multipl parts. Consisting of RAF airfields in Aden Cyprus, Libya and the Persian Gulf operational in 1962. Complete with Ai aircraft with custom paints and traffic files, and compatible with CalClassic period airline traffic. The first file we've release is an object library by Kalle Busse that you will need installed first which has just been uploaded to the SOH lib, so should be available pretty soon, The airfields and traffic will follow pretty soon

To get ahead of the game, you'll need this other library installed also
The CalClassic object library's, found at Avsim. look for "Classic_Scenery_Libraries__UPDATE_.zip" by Wolfgang Gersch

Installation

Simply copy the KLB Static Library Objects folder into your Addon Scenery folder in FS2004

Next, go to Settings in FS2004 and add this scenery in the usual manor but place it near the bottom of the list so that it is below any scenery that would use objects from the library.



Restart FS2004 and your ready to use it.

This is the first in a series of RAF airfields in the near/middle east region from around the early 1960's time frame.
These airfields are stand alone scenery's, with dedicated traffic and Ai package from AVP and dedicated object library's by Kalle . Ive lost count of how many versions ive made, but this version is the one you need,
any older version's will not work as well with the Ai and traffic

This is the first in a series of RAF airfields in the near/middle east region from around 1962.
A large package of ai aircraft and the first of the traffic files is included in this zip. we've try'd to make installation as straight forward as possible, but please read the read-me for more important details and background info
IMPORTANT. ive done a few version's of Khormaksar over the years, if you have any installed, you will need to uninstall them, and have a look in Scenery/world/scenery for any old OYAA traffic file's

Quiet funny! Since Friday, I’ve had it in my head to do a Hunter ferry flight from Great Britain to Khormaksar and have started looking for scenaries. I wasn’t sure whether I was going to do it in FS9 or FSX. And now this project has come along. Thanks

In some ways I wish this was for FSX but never mind ! I've had a go at Riyan, Ras al Had, Ahmadi and a few others using ADE but for FSX. Recommend reading "Red Sea Caravan" by Dacre Watson to get a feel for up country airstrips in EAP / WAP.

This is number 2 in our serious of RAF Commands of the Middle and Near East

Welcome to version 2 of the original Trucial States by Juan Martinez / Julius Czarnecki. The original release was primarily aimed at the civil side and designed to use with the CalClasic Retro environment and traffic. Juan as given us his kind permission to enhance two important RAF bases contained in their excellent original release to better fit in with our larger project of the RAF Middle East and Near East commands in 1962

Introduction
In 1962, the airfields at RAF Muharraq (Bahrain / OBBI) and RAF Sharjah (Trucial States / OMSJ) formed the critical geographic and tactical backbone of the British military presence in the Persian Gulf. Functioning as vital strategic stepping stones along the UK’s essential "Middle East Route," these twin bases allowed the Royal Air Force to rapidly project air power and bridge the massive operational gap between major commands in Cyprus (NEAF) and Aden (Middle East Command). While RAF Muharraq served as a heavily defended, joint-user staging hub hosting frontline interceptors like the Hawker Hunters of No. 208 Squadron alongside the U.S. Navy's regional VIP logistics aircraft, RAF Sharjah acted as a rugged, indispensable forward staging post and transport clearinghouse. Together, these two airfields secured the vital oil lanes of the Gulf, countered regional Soviet and pan-Arab political influence, and ensured that British tactical strike and transport aircraft could seamlessly reinforce operations across the Arabian Peninsula.
