• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

RE: How to post You Tube screen here?

I made an attempt to post a You Tube screen within my post like some of you other chaps have. I failed miserably. I know there was previous posts how to do it plus (I think) even instructions here at the SOH. I can't find either.
So this is 'what I thought' would work. I clicked the red square YT to open it up. It asks to "WRAP [You Tube] tags around selected text." As you can see in the attached JPEG,.....I've placed the You Tube link between the two You Tube bracketed tags.
I then tried to post. Nothing. The post was blank. But maybe I didn't wait long enough. I'm not sure how I messed up. Need someone to get me straight in uploading a You Tube screen here at the NewsHawks. Much thanks!

Brad, you only need the YouTube code after the "v=", not the entire URL.

For you, that would be "bJavHuHAjgY", without the parentheses.

Ya bringing back some memories of a pimple-faced 12-YO sitting in his dad's 55 Dodge Crown Royale tuning in WABC so he could listen to the top pops. That was some good music, fun, harmony, and innocent times.
